The Transition

Should I get excited about moving to D.C.? What is there to be thrilled about D.C.? Why should I be happy to leave a city where I am perfectly content with? This move is for my husband, not me-- bear that in mind. I am willing to have a CHANGE however if I have a choice of anywhere to live in-- Washington D.C. ranks as the last place on my list. Sorry, no offense intended.

(Remember-- I have been spoiled rotten with the constant sunshine, beaches, and the perfect temperature. So don't go around and say that D.C. is better than any Californian city...)

Snorkeling in San Diego

I went out to La Jolla Coves with friends and a waterproof camera...
with only a pair of swimming goggles and a swimsuit.
The water's temperature was perfect. The sun was shining. It was a WONDERFUL day to snorkel! Nothing can beat it... especially when you see those amazing schools of fish and kelp forests!

I am hooked to water photography now. This weekend I am taking C out there, hopefully to swim with seals from a nearby beach.
